Question by qualitylife: why is obama lying that “you can keep your insurance”?
on page 16, it says if you move, change jobs, or if your plan changes, you will no longer be able to get any private plan, and HAVE to enroll into the public option! Is it obvious that he wants to outlaw all private insurance within 10 years as he said to SEIU in 2007??
you will be stuck with what gov gives you without any way out!!

Wait. Let me guess, Jesus told you to tell that lie.
Gotta love the Christian right.
Uh oh, you actually read the bill…unlike Obama and congressman. It’s true, you change jobs…bye bye private health care. You want to sign up for new private health care…nope, don’t think so.
People like you have read the bill, unlike the hacks voting on it.
Page 16 of what? Do you realize there is no final version of a bill that is up for a vote?
He means car insurance
I’m willing to bet that what it says is that you will have the public option available, not that you have to accept it.
As it stands right now if you move, change jobs or “if your plan changes” (I’m assuming that means if your insurer rescinds your plan because you’re actually sick) you have no options at all.
When I moved from one state to another a few years back my insurance company wanted to cancel my new application (I had to start over because I was in a new state) because I’d had a broken leg, which they called “surgery.” Fortunately I was able to appeal that and I won. But why should a broken leg disqualify anyone from getting insurance?
The White House really didn’t like that uncut clip of him explaining that we’ll eventually all pay into the same plan.
Obama’s a liar & only out for another federal power grab.
Some people are still fooling themselves into thinking his policies are to help the “little guy,” and are more humane – even though they’re claiming those against health care are carrying swastikas to town hall meetings.
Wake up, people.
Lying is a specialty of his….and I don’t want to give the government my bank account information either!!!!!

It’s basically a bait and switch.
